Another thing to keep in mind in this comparison is that the sweet My Melody rabbit is helpful even to her enemies. She is full of sugar and spice as well as super nice. My Melody is one of the nicest characters in an anime.
It made me happy to see many mini melos that were created by the anime character that is main. Secondary characters are also well developed, but they are not as full of power.

Plan to make in the future more comparisons. These are both top quality animes, although My Melody is more for children and Shugo Chara is close to being an older manga.
