Timecop is an interesting time travel movie because it has the idea that you cannot touch your future self or you will disappear.- decorporalize into nothing. Al Bielek claims you explode if you come near your future self and Steven Gibbs claims that you can split your timeline. However, the infamous CarlosX claims that he went back physically from 2004 to 1997 and hugged his past self with no ill effects. This other CarlosX was on another timeline where he worked for a company called Aldis motors that built everything from cars to lawn mowers. Strange stuff this time travel, but many people including Steven Gibbs claims that time cops are real. They are tasked with the job of stopping temporal criminals. |

Here is a time travel prediction, Sears will never sell time machines. A time
machine is the ideal tool to rob from the past. Time cops prevent the pillaging
of the past via pirates of the future. That means this technology will be regulated
in the future.
